From teachers:
How much does it cost to be a part of the Classroom Enrichment Program?
For many of our teachers, there is no cost to become a part of the program. This is made possible by donations from generous supporters of the Classroom Enrichment Program. From time to time, however, we are unable to provide free newspapers to every teacher. For that reason, we also offer the newspaper at a reduced rate. This rate is $.25 per newspaper per day. For example, if you would like to receive ten newspapers in your classroom one day a week for the entire school year (40 weeks) then the total cost would be $100.

What is the charge for curriculum guides?
Once you have become a part of the Classroom Enrichment Program, there is no charge for the curriculum guides.

I didn’t get my newspapers today. Is it still possible for me to get them delivered?
If you call Cathy Dollard at 518.454.5702 before 9:30 a.m., then we should be able to get the newspapers to you on that day. If, however, it is later than 9:30 a.m., it will be impossible for us to get the newspapers to you. This is why it is very important that you call Cathy as soon as you realize that your newspapers have not arrived for the day.

I’m having general troubles with the delivery of my newspapers to my school. How do I get this fixed?
Please contact Cathy Dollard at 518.454.5702. She should be able to help you.

From sponsors:
Who should I contact if I am interested in sponsoring a classroom for a year?
You can find our sponsorship brochure by clicking here. But, if you have further questions or would like to discuss other partnership opportunities, please contact Greg Stapleton at gstapleton@classroomenrichment.org.

How much does it cost to sponsor a scholarship for a teacher to receive newspapers in his/her classroom for an entire school year?
$350 will allow the teacher to receive newspapers at no charge for the whole school year.

What do I get for my investment?
For each classroom you choose to sponsor, you will receive one quarter page “thank you” ad in the Times Union. To see an example of this ad, click here. In addition, you will also receive the chance to receive thank you letters from the students in your class and the ability to form a partnership with a group of students in your community.
